MAE BOUNMA
​Born in Hongsa (Sayaboury) in 1990, she is a resilient elephant: she has a lot of permanent damage to her trunk and tail since her mother stepped on them when she was younger. Before arriving at the Mekong Elephant Park in 2019, she was working in the logging industry for many years.

​She is one of a kind! Born in Hongsa (Sayaboury) in 1999, she arrived at the park in her early years (2009) and we were able to save her from working in the forest.

KHAM KHOUN
​Born in Hongsa (sayaboury) in 1990, he is a very powerful and stocky elephant. Consequently, he was used as a labor force in the logging industry for many years before arriving at the Mekong Elephant Park in 2016.
