Covid-19 affects the whole world, and the Mekong Elephant Park is unfortunately no exception​
The objective of the Mekong Elephant Park is clear:
→ Elephants should no longer be exploited! Those who have worked their entire lives in the logging industry or in mass tourism deserve a real natural elephant life. Free to roam, Free to be together, and Free to have enough to eat in their natural habitat.
Due to complications from the virus and the quarantine situation:
→ We can no longer welcome visitors who come to observe the elephants, and who, by visiting us, contribute to our project.

But we believe that every dark cloud has its silver lining:
→ In these difficult times, the fact that we can focus on Mae Ping and Mae Bounma's reproduction project is great news and a huge source of motivation to keep us moving forward. There is a whole generation of elephants missing in Laos, and if nothing is done, unfortunately this amazing species can disappear from this country.
Today, to continue our projects, we need you!

There is no small amount, every help is precious!
All your contributions will be used towards the well being of our elephants, veterinary care, food, mahouts salary and also to continue our reproduction project. We are keeping our spirits up and staying positive.
